Synopsis of Girlfight

A pretty blonde girl named Avery is shot at Felicity's party and Ben accompanies her in the ambulance. He watches her die in the ambulance and be brought back to life. Elena is also shot in the shoulder.
Three months later
Elena has empowered herself by taking self-defense classes. Tracy comes back early from Africa and Elena sees him with another girl. He explains that his new girlfriend, Rose, was in Africa with her church group. Elena decides that maybe Tracy and this "church" group girl are better suited for each other since the whole sex thing won't get in the way. Elena makes her peace with Tracy and tells him that she just wants him to be happy. When Elena finds a condom in Tracy's wallet, she is devastated, realizing that it wasn't the sex thing that got in the way of her relationship with Tracy, it was that he never really loved her.
Avery, recently released from the hospital and all better due to physical therapy, hunts down Ben and gives him an expensive watch as a thank you present. She then joins Felicity in Elena's self-defense class and accidentally seriously flips her when they're doing a class exercise. She gives Felicity a pretty purple turtle-neck as an "I'm sorry" present. Felicity and Ben find out Avery is a trust-fund baby, and comes from a seriously rich publishing family. Ben can't say no when Avery takes him to a basketball game with court-side seats. Felicity is a little jealous, but tries to ignore it. Ben calls later that night from a cool party at a club, and tells Felicity to come on over because Avery put her name on the list. Felicity comes with Noel, but her name is not on the list. Noel uses his Leon charms and talks their way into the club, and Felicity confronts Avery on her suspicion that the blonde is after Ben, and Avery admits that it's true, but she knows Ben is devoted to Felicity. Felicity is shocked that Avery would actually admit she's after her boyfriend. Avery ends up going home with Noel and they sleep together. When Ben returns from Felicity's in the morning, he finds a bright red motorcycle waiting for him at home. Felicity is horrified, and even more so when she finds out Noel slept with Avery. At self-defense class, Felicity seriously flips Avery during an exercise, and doesn't even pretend it was an accident. Ben tells Avery he has to return the motorcycle and the watch. Avery says they made a connection the ambulance, and even though Ben has a girlfriend, she has never felt this way and suspects that Ben hasn't either.
Noel has been in a funk since the shooting, since he bent down to tie his shoe and the bullet that shot Avery whizzed over his head. After sleeping with Avery, he is revitalized and comes up with a great idea for his and Felicity's online comic strip, Loser Pet Store.
Meghan gets assigned work study at a preschool and is not looking forward to it because she hates kids. When she gets there, she realizes the kids aren't so bad, it's the uptight teachers who tell her to dress differently that suck. Meghan starts teaching the kids witchcraft, and is horrified when one of the teachers orders a psychological evaluation be done on her.
